David’s recent work is drawn from the east end of London where he lives and works. The work is largely placed on the canals and tow paths which offer a varied insight into the vibrant and ever changing dynamic of the east end. From the quiet peace of the narrowboats moored on the lee valley near hackney marshes to busy development of the olympice site a few minutes walk on the same tow path. Often depicted at night David has been drawn to the deep, rich colours and the lights that punctuates surrounding buildings and streets.
